Example: A pebble is a product of time and chance, but an arrow head is a product of plan and purpose. The evidence of creation speaks of order, and an intelligent plan.

The woodpecker is a very complex and perfectly designed bird. It is fit to survive. It has a strong skull, a long tongue, a strong beak, and a reflex to close its eyes on impact. If evolution were true, all of the woodpecker’s features would have to appear at the same time for the bird to survive.

One evoluntionist said “Living things appear to be carefully and artfully designed.” The best explanation is that there is a wise God who created things.

How do we explain similar biological features shared by different creatures? Is it creation according to a common plan, OR descent from a common ancestor. The first explanation fits the facts in the world better. For example, the octopus and the human have the same design of eye.

There is evidence against evolution in the molecules within living things. Hemoglobin, for example, is required to carry oxygen. Bacteria, earthworms, and humans all depend on hemoglobin.

Lysine, found in tears, is responsible for killing bacteria. It allows human eyes and egg whites to remain free of bacteria.

There is a mosaic pattern in the diverse biological features found among creatures. These patterns reflect creation according to a common plan.

Modern scientific biology began 200 years before Darwin and was based on biblical ideas.

Scientist Dr. Colin Patterson says “I had been duped into taking evolutionism as revealed truth in some ways.” Evolution is anti-knowledge which generates anti-theory. He has seen a shift of perception in his lifetime from evolution as science to evolution as faith. As a scientist he sees the difference between time and chance and plan and purpose. He knows that common design explains the evidence in the world. We should look at animals and plants as works of art.

Another example is the human embryo: the blood (yolk) sac is essential to embryonic development; the supposed “gill slits” are necessary organs in pre-development stage; the “tail” is actually the tip of the spine. You are a particular human being from the moment of conception. You are not a lower life-form, or bacteria.

The message of creation affects people to the core of their being . If you are a product of time and chance, your life is meaningless: just chance accumulation of molecules.
